- 5 MW gas generator exhaust re-use to co-generation chiller to produce 900MT air condition.
- 3 MW gas generator exhaust re-use to co generation boiler to produce 2.7MT steam.
- ‘Team Viyellatex’ engineering dept. has converted conventional fabric dryer to heat recovery energy saving (25%) dryer.
- 8000 worker and stuff toilet are using treated textile production effluent water which saves more than 80 million ltr. underground water per year.
- Around 60 million ltr. rain water is being collected and used per year.
- Instead of dumping lunch residue of 8000 worker/stuff to land field, Viyellatex use those to produce 150MT compost fertilizer per year.
- Viyellatex is establishing first carbon neutral/green factory in Bangladesh with the support of GTZ and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
